Bethel Church Choctaw’s
Vision – Goal – Purpose - Mission
These following scriptures are the foundation of God’s calling, anointing, and purpose for Bethel Church Choctaw.
Matthew 28:19
Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit,
Mark 16:15
And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.
Matthew 22:37-39 And He said to him, “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ 38 This is the great and foremost commandment. 39 The second is like it, ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’
1 John 2:6 … the one who says he abides in Him ought himself to walk in the same manner as He walked.
Ephesians 5:1-2 Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children; 2 and walk in love, just as Christ also loved you and gave Himself up for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God as a fragrant aroma.
James 1:22 But prove yourselves doers of the word, and not merely hearers who delude themselves.
2 Corinthians 5:20 Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were making an appeal through us; we beg you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God.
We want to exemplify these scriptures very realistically in our everyday lives and teach others to do the same. We want to use the power and the boldness that God has placed in every Christian (Holy Spirit) to make a spiritual difference in the world – to change people’s eternities! Our Christianity should be obvious.
We desire God’s will for BCC. We believe that His will at this time, is to build a church that heals people and grows people all for the purpose of impacting the world for the glory of God.
We desire to be, exemplify, and encourage others to be “outward focused”, just like Jesus was - loving and sharing the gospel OUTSIDE of the church walls.
The majority of a Christian’s ministry, should happen there.
We hope to encourage people to have an ever growing, intentional, and personal relationship with our very relevant Father God and His Spirit on the inside of us.
Along with that, we hope to encourage people to have an impact on the world with the kingdom of God and for His glory.
All of this, is why we have adopted the words:
– Love – Learn – Grow – Go –
