Bethel Choctaw will begin a “Practical School of Ministry” on Sunday, January 6, 2019. The class will meet for one hour from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. and will last approximately 42 weeks. This class is designed to help the serious disciple of our Lord to better understand their role and calling in the Body of Christ and to participate in “active” ministry. Those who attend will find the topics interesting and the discussion engaging. Pastor Dick Temple and Pastor Keith Fife will be the principle instructors/facilitators for this class, although there will be some video and audio training from other ministers as well. Some of the topics are:

  • Unleashing Your Potential — Kemp Holden (Video lessons with discussion)

  • Christian Caregiving

  • Understanding the Bible

  • Leadership/Discipleship

  • Church Ordinances

  • Handling Conflict

  • Holy Spirit/Gifts of the Spirit

  • Fruit of the Spirit

  • And many others
